Another morning with freezing temps means at least one more day to wear my #ThrowoverSweater from @dreareneeknits I knit this in a class last fall with @Allysondykhuizen as my first attempt with color work and I have been thrilled with the results! Wearing with my #BrooksJeans from @HelensCloset even though they are a little hard to see.

In the past, on St. Patrick’s Day, I always wished I had a warm green sweater. Last year I decided to do something about it! I took a class with @allysondykhuizen and knit this #carbethsweater in a perfect bright green. I’ve gotten a ton of wear out of it since I finished last spring but today is the day it was made for! 😉☘️ Wearing it with my new #shoppants from @openstudiopatterns and handmade socks! #sewover50 #knitover50 #so50jeans #iwearwhatisew #iwearwhatiwant #rocketcitysewist #huntsvillesews

@SewOver50 is running a mini-challenge based on patterns we make over and over again. I might have told you that I didn’t really have a TnT pattern until I started counting! The big winner is the #TaborTee from @SewHouse7 I have 9 in total! Several of them are at the cabin so I don’t have pics of all of them but here are my short sleeve ones, including my most recent make, a lovely fall print remnant from @textile_fabrics_nashville I also have 3 pair of #FreeRangeSlacks also from Sew House 7 (and one all cut out and ready to sew) which pair perfectly with the Tabor Tee. (I also seem to have a TnT pose!) Things I love about my TnT pattern: There are a lot of different views and I like all of them! The short sleeve version is a great scrap buster and uses less than a yard of fabric for my size. The instructions for the V-neck are so good that mine turn out perfectly almost every time on the first try! #so50TnT

My summer knitting is all done! I’ve taken classes with both @Laura_a_Mcdougal and @AllysonDykhuizen as well as a week long knitting class with Charles Gandy @JohnCCampbellFolkSchool and I feel like I’ve really leveled up! The pink sweater is the #LoveNoteSweater from @tincanknits and the blue sweater is the #RiftTee from @Jacquelinecieslak Both are made from Juniper Moon Farm Zooey, a cotton-linen blend. Purchased from @silverthreadsyarn
